Washing the Wool for Vilte’s class …………..

Some lovely new felt in black and white to inspire you and my finished pieces from Lizzie’s workshop. Vilte arrives in two sleeps! I have been washing wool and mohair and suri alpaca and having a jolly, smelly, woolly time! Often using processed merino wool means you miss out on the joy of cleaning and playing with greasy raw wool. It is very, very special. I think we take wool for granted! The studio is all finished, bought the last trestle tables and a few chairs and we are all ready! Don’t forget the two really exciting workshops coming up still have some spaces left . Myfanwy’s bag intensive in June and Pam de Groot’s two workshops in August. Details are in the workshop section on this website. Both Myf and Pam have taught overseas and are very respected felt makers. We are so lucky to have them come to Brisbane and particularly to the Felt Studio. My usual monthly classes have spaces for May /June and July. My teaching year ends in October -it is already April so be quick!
