My very full life!

This year has been a great year but very full! So full that I have been neglecting my website SO much it is embarrassing. My May newsletter is still sitting here! Now that is bad. I actually wrote it in May and then did not send it, mainly because I did not have time to resize all my images. So here it is! Better late than never!

Having your own business can be very challenging time-wise. It takes me so long to do the computer work and the business side of being a full-time artist. Time that takes me away from making.

So the year went a little mad with felt workshops in Central Australia at the Beanie Festival, then teaching at an Embroidery Conference in New Zealand, and then a 9 week holiday with a little felt sharing along the way. Iceland was the first stop. What an amazing place. I invested in some fish skin leather and am looking forward to making some Icelandic-inspired work. We met some amazing people and saw some beautiful places.

My lovely friend Anna and I by the North Sea in Iceland!
Hodda’s little house in Iceland
Some felt panels I made for friends and family we stayed with.

We visited Singapore then Iceland, Ireland and Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, London, Liverpool, Wales, Ipswich, The New Forest and the Isle of Wight. What a fabulous  time! We stayed with some fabulous old and new friends and family.
